The Other Side of Amen provides Bible teaching resources for pastors, churches, missionaries, ministry workers, and individuals who are helping people understand Scripture and grow in Christ.
The material is written in plain language so that new believers, seekers, and people without years of Bible training can understand it.
There is no charge to use these resources.
I am not seeking financial support, sponsorship, or a formal partnership. My purpose is simply to make biblical teaching available wherever it may help someone know Jesus Christ, understand God’s Word, or grow in faith.
Bible Basics
Bible Basics is a growing collection of lessons covering the foundations of the Christian faith. The lessons address salvation, repentance, prayer, Scripture, baptism, worship, temptation, spiritual growth, angels, and other important subjects.
Each lesson is written to answer common questions clearly and directly from Scripture. These lessons may be especially helpful for new believers, small Bible studies, discipleship groups, pastors, missionaries, and ministry workers.
Bible Essays and Teaching
The Essays section contains longer teaching on salvation, Christian living, obedience, faith, suffering, biblical warnings, and difficult questions believers often face.
These essays are written to reach those who do not know Christ and to help believers examine what they believe in the light of Scripture.
Advice for New Believers
This simple guide gives new believers a clear place to begin. It explains the first steps of reading the Bible, praying, obeying Christ, dealing with sin, choosing faithful teachers, and finding other believers who will help them grow.
Churches and ministries may send a new believer directly to this page and then guide them into the Bible Basics lessons.
Christian Fiction
The Fiction section uses stories and fictional conversations to present biblical truth through everyday struggles, relationships, doubts, grief, forgiveness, and faith.
These stories may help readers who would not normally begin with a Bible lesson but are willing to consider truth through the lives and questions of fictional characters.
